Every Day is Hump Day!

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. (Hebrews 13:4)

According to Gallup, the standards of sexual morality are rapidly changing.

  • 60% of Americans now say that it is morally acceptable to have a baby outside of marriage, up from 45% in 2001.
  • 63% believe it is morally acceptable for unmarried people to have sex, up from 53% in 2001.
  • 59% say that gay relationships are morally acceptable, up from 40% in 2001.

This, of course, poses a problem for us religious traditionalists. Heck, half the fun of sexual immorality is the fact that it’s immoral, for God’s sake. When sexual immorality isn’t immoral anymore then all you have left is—well, sexual morality. My God, people! If Adam and Eve had this kind of attitude we’d still be stuck in the Garden of Eden! How freaking boring would that have been? I mean, if all we have left is sexual morality, than what’s the point of bookmarking Girls Gone Wild? If it’s all morally acceptable now, then screwing each other like rabbits is no different than dropping a dime in the Salvation Army bucket or going to church. Is that the kind of world you want? What’s the fun of being fallen if you can’t fall?

Please! For the love of all things depraved! Keep the sin in singles bars! Keep the ill in illicit. Keep dirty deeds dirty (and done dirt cheap). Give me lechery! Give me lewdness! Give me old-fashioned lust! Give me a reason for my private browsing feature! Give us all something we can be proud to be ashamed of!

Keep America a fornication nation!
